About Dr. Dan
Physical Therapist
Born and raised in St. Charles, Illinois, Dr. Dan initially started with Advanced Physical Medicine as a physical therapy technician in 2014. Since that time, he has earned his Bachelors in Health and Human Sciences from Northern Illinois University prior to attending NIU’s physical therapy program. He earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2019. He has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) since 2016 and a member of the American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy (AASPT) since 2017.
Dr. Dan strives to treat his patients with a holistic and multidisciplinary approach. He enjoys treating a diverse patient population including student athletes, weekend warriors, chronic pain, vestibular and balance dysfunctions, as well as post-surgical rehabilitation. Throughout his education, he participated in several research projects involving volleyball and baseball athletes; he also assisted in conducting a research study which assessed the use of virtual reality in individuals with balance problems. He is a fresh therapist with education on the latest and most up-to-date research in the world of orthopedic and sports rehabilitation.
When he isn’t treating, Dr. Dan spends his time with friends and family, including 5 siblings. Growing up in a big family, he has a very competitive and energetic nature. He enjoys playing football, volleyball, and spikeball. He loves to take his three dogs for walks if not hiking, biking, or kayaking. He is a very big Chicago Bears fan and is currently on a mission to go to a Bears game in every NFL stadium.
