Physical Therapist
Born and raised in St. Charles, Illinois, Dr. Dan initially started with Advanced Physical Medicine as a physical therapy technician in 2014. Since that time, he has earned his Bachelors in Health and Human Sciences from Northern Illinois University prior to attending NIU’s physical therapy program. He earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2019. He has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) since 2016 and a member of the American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy (AASPT) since 2017.
Dr. Dan strives to treat his patients with a holistic and multidisciplinary approach. He enjoys treating a diverse patient population including student athletes, weekend warriors, chronic pain, vestibular and balance dysfunctions, as well as post-surgical rehabilitation. Throughout his education, he participated in several research projects involving volleyball and baseball athletes; he also assisted in conducting a research study which assessed the use of virtual reality in individuals with balance problems. He is a fresh therapist with education on the latest and most up-to-date research in the world of orthopedic and sports rehabilitation.
Outside of the clinic, Daniel enjoys spending time with his wife while managing the gifts and challenges of having a newborn daughter. A lifelong Chicago Bears fan, he never misses a chance to cheer on his team. He and his three brothers make it a tradition to attend one Bears away game each year, with the goal of eventually visiting every NFL stadium.
