Shoulder Pain Treatment

About shoulder pain

Shoulder impingement syndrome (SIS) is a condition that causes shoulder pain. To diagnose SIS, APMSTC clinicians look for a specific set of shoulder symptoms and clinical findings. Shoulder pain is extremely common in the general population and is often caused by SIS. The condition is especially common among people who have certain shoulder weakness patterns or do repetitive activities that involve raising arms at or above shoulder height. Impingement is just one of many treatable shoulder conditions that limit motion and cause pain.
